George Plemper

George Plemper worked as a teacher in Thamesmead during the ​’70s. George documented the area including the children and young people growing up in the new town. His work captured something of the optimism and hope of the residents, producing some of the most enduring and iconic images of Thamesmead, and of the people who made it their home.
